pooltables.com is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological.
Accessibility Tools On This Site
Every page includes an accessibility menu (bottom-left corner) providing:
- Adjustable text size, line height, and letter spacing
- High contrast, dark, light, and desaturated color modes
- Dyslexia-friendly and readable sans-serif font options
- Link highlighting and reading guide
- Pause animations (respects
prefers-reduced-motion) - Enlarged cursor
- Persistent focus indicators throughout the Site
Measures Taken
- Semantic HTML landmarks and heading hierarchy
- Alt text on meaningful images
- Keyboard navigable menus, cart, and product configuration
- ARIA labels on icon-only controls
- Sufficient color contrast on text and interactive elements
- Compatibility testing with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA)
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some legacy product imagery from manufacturers may lack detailed alt descriptions. We are actively remediating these. Third-party embeds (payment, chat) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA.
